Michael Morgan

Assistant Professor of History at the University of North Carolina

Michael Cotey Morgan is Assistant Professor of History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he teaches courses on international history, the Cold War, and human rights. He is currently writing a book on the origins of the Helsinki Final Act. He previously taught at the US Naval War College and the University of Toronto, and has been a visiting fellow at Sciences Po in Paris.   He received his BA from the University of Toronto, MPhil from the University of Cambridge, and PhD from Yale University.
