Jon Finer
Former Director of policy planning at the US State Department, and Chief of Staff to Secretary of State
Jon Finer was the Director of Policy Planning at the US State Department (2016 to 2017), and Chief of Staff to Secretary of State John Kerry (2015 to 2017). In 2021, he was appointed Principal Deputy National Security Adviser to President Joe Biden. He has a law degree from Yale Law School, an MPhil in international relations from Oxford, where he was a Rhodes Scholar, and an undergraduate degree from Harvard University.
